BOND Archive Sunday Service, July 1, 2012: Jesse Lee Peterson asks the people if and why they gossip or listen to gossip, and whether they can be trusted. Gossip is evil. Without gossip, people don't have much to talk about; women try to make quiet men talk, as they cannot handle being alone with their ego. Why not have love enough for the person gossiping to tell them to go talk to the other person about whom they're gossiping? If they start to tell you something about another person, tell them that you’ll go tell that person what they said.
Life is simple; we need only to go and forgive. We read Matthew 5: 13-16, in which Jesus called his disciples the salt of the earth, a light for the world, and a city on a hill — an example of God for others.
